Hello, I’m Sarah, a London-based music academic, songwriter, producer, educator, and visual artist with nearly two decades of experience across the international music and creative industries.

 

Originally from Australia, I began my professional career as a signed singer-songwriter at 18 and have since contributed to projects accumulating hundreds of millions of streams worldwide, alongside international chart success, television sync placements, and live performances to audiences of more than 50,000 people.

 

Alongside my industry work, I lecture and develop curriculum within higher education music programmes in London, specialising in songwriting, advanced harmony, music theory, piano, vocal performance, and contemporary music practice.

 

My current research interests focus on commercial songwriting methodologies, melodic structure, hook-first writing techniques, and contemporary K-pop genre blending, with plans to commence PhD research in Songwriting and Contemporary Music Practice in 2027.

 

I am also the founder of an internationally successful visual art brand, with artwork featured through global retailers including H&M, Target, and Walmart.

 

My work across music, education, research, and visual art is united by a passion for creativity, storytelling, and artistic development.

Outside of my professional life, I spend most of my time with my husband, our two children, and our dog, usually with music playing somewhere in the background.
